Candidates Expelled for Not Having Mosquito Nets.

Authorities of Paibona primary school in Paibona sub county Gulu district has sent its candidates home for not having treated insecticide mosquito nets.
The school deputy head teacher, Grace Alimocan says at least ten out of 27 of the candidates who are in the boarding section are being treated from malaria at Paibona health centre II.
Alimocan blames the disease attacks on failure by parents of the pupils to provide the learners with mosquito nets which would have prevented mosquito bites which is believed to have caused the disease.
She reveals that the school authorities on Monday resolved to send the pupils home and return to school only on condition of having a treated insecticide mosquito net in order to control the disease.
Geoffrey Odong the boys` patron says they could no longer continue holding the pupils in school without mosquito nets for fear that many would suffer malaria attacks hence frustrating their performances.
