Pabbo Councilor Arrested for Theft.

Police in Amuru district are holding Richard Abola Lapaka the councilor Five for Pabbo Town Council on allegation of theft.
He was arrested on Thursday and is being held at Otwee police station on charge of theft of government documents according to the Aswa River Region police spokesperson Patrick Jimmy Okema.
It is alleged that Abola on the 30th July 2018 grabbed receipts from the Lacor parish chief, Gabriel Nyerere who was conducting verification of vehicles carrying charcoal at Okurukwee police check point and went away with it.
Okema explained that the arrest followed a complaint from one of the charcoal owners, Frank Kigwe who filed the concerns with police prompting the arrest.
Police in Acholi has equally opened a General Enquiry File against Acholi district leaders on allegations of conniving with dealers trading in prohibited tree species.
