Two Teachers in Amuru are in Trouble over Absenteeism.

Two teachers of Pabbo Sub County in Amuru district are in trouble for being absent from duty without authorization.
They are Paul Ojara, a Mathematics teacher for Primary Three and Four in Pamin Lalwak Primary School and Geoffrey Akena of Otong Primary School an English and Science teacher for Primary Five.
Reports from the school head teachers indicate that Ojara and Akena have missed school for one year and two terms respectively.
Julius Loch, the head teacher for Pamin Lalwak Primary School says Ojara has missed school since 2017 to date without reporting after taking a sick leave of only three months.
Betty Okoth, the school head teacher for Otong Primary School said Ojara appeared in school for only twenty seven days and sixteen days in the first and second terms respectively.
He has equally not reported for this year`s school opening for the third term. The head teachers said they have informed the district education officer and local leaders over the disappearance of the teachers.
The Amuru District Education Officer-DEO, Joyce Lanyero says they are still looking for whereabouts of the teachers to parade them before the disciplinary committee for actions.
