Newly Created Paibona Sub County Risks Eviction From Office Space.

The newly created Paibona Sub County in Gulu district is at verge of being evicted from its office premises due to failure to clear 105,000 Shillings rent arrears since September.
the Paibona was curved out of Awach Sub County in July 2018 during the creation of the new administrative units by the Ministry of Local Government.
The current office space has three rooms for the Sub County Chairperson, Chief and Accounting Officer, each office room is rented at 35,000 Shillings monthly.
Richard Watmon says affairs of the Sub County has been greatly affected because its mother Sub County has failed to remit money for its operation.
Paibona has banked 600,000 Shillings in Awach`s Account but it is operating without a stamp, office furniture and transport.
Florence Agal, the Paibona Sub County Chief says they have never received money from Awach to facilitate their operation.
She says the matter has been forwarded to Orik Oryem the Assistant Chief Administrative Officer for Aswa region.
