Wind Destroys Primary School in Amuru District.

Tekibur Primary School in Lamogi Sub County Amuru district is battling classrooms shortage after wind blew off its roof on Sunday last week.
The tragedy comes barely three months after the district renovated the school at a tune of UGX 45 Million after wind had also destroyed the building a year ago.
The school Head teacher Patrick Okello says the block is class room to three hundred and forty six pupils in Primary One, Two, Three and Four respectively.
He explained that the most affected are the primary four pupils whose roofs were completely blown off. They have now been shifted to primary seven class room.
The Amuru district chairperson Michael Lakony says the contractor that renovated the school has been summoned to repair the damage because it is still within the one year retention period agreement.
