Another Couple Survives Petrol Attack in Amuru.

Another couple in Olinga Village in Pabbo Sub County Amuru district on Sunday night survived death after their house was set ablaze using petrol.
The victims are Bosco Nyero and his wife Mary Acan, they were in the house with their two daughters only identified as Oyella, 2 years old and Anena,5, when their grass thatched was torched.
Nyero said that they were rescued by neighbors Patrick Akena and Paul Kato who noticed that their hut was on fire and broke their doors.
They escaped unhurt but he suspects that the arsonist(s) used petrol to set their hut on fire.
Nyero adds that they lost all their household properties and food stuffs worth millions of shillings and are dearly in need of support.
Richard Openy, the area LC1 said a case of arson has been reported at Pabbo police post. He revealed that this is the second incident in the area in just two months.
In February, Lilly Piloya a jilted lover torched the hut of another couple identified as Doreen Anek and her husband only identified as Okumu.
‘’They were sleeping inside when neighbors came and kicked their door, when they kicked the house was almost falling down but due to good luck they ran out but everything was burnt and nothing picked, they were four in the house.
This is the second arson case in my area, one I arrested that person and took her to police and have been convicted, they were feuding over a man that was this year in February. That person is called Piloya Lilly.’’Openy explains
Piloya has since been convicted by court after she was found guilty of arson.
