Two Teachers in Gulu Ordered Out of School For Being Drunk On Duty.

Two teachers of Paibona Primary School in Paibona Sub County Gulu district were on Tuesday ordered out of the school for appearing drunk on duty.
The two are, Samuel Otwona and Jolly Okech all teachers of Mathematics subject for Primary seven and four respectively.
Paibona Primary School is a government aided .
Lucy Alimu, the Acting School head teacher says the duo were on Tuesday morning at around 8:30 expected to administer the end of term two examination papers but were noticed staggering and smelling alcohol.
Alimu says she ordered all of them out of the school due to their unexpected behavior which would show a bad image to the learners and tarnish the school teachers` names.
Ivan Bernard Okello, the chairperson Parents` Teachers Association (PTA) of the school who was present was equally showered with insults from the teachers who were being matched out of the school by the head teacher.
Otwona had earlier last year been subjected to the school disciplinary committee for drunk on duty.
Richard Watmon, the Paibona Sub County interim chairperson says his office is aware of the matter and will contact the Gulu district education authority for further management.
