UPDF Accident Victims Airlifted to Bombo Military Hospital.

Five soldiers involved in an accident involving a Uganda People`s Defence Force (UPDF) accident has been airlifted to Bombo Military Hospital in Bombo district for treatment.
The five on Monday morning suffered critical injuries after their Prado Vehicle registration number DO3DF108 rammed into a beer depot.
The incident occurred in Kaabong Central Ward in Kaabong Town Council at around 7:00 a.m killing four others instantly. They are all from the 3rd Division army barracks.
Major Telesphor Turyamumanya, the third division spokesperson said on Monday that the injured and the deceased were this afternoon airlifted with the UPDF helicopter for further management at Bombo Military Hospital.
They were picked from the military detach in Kaabong Town Council.
He says the soldiers were on a mission to arrest one of their own Pt. Jimmy Masaba in Uzake Village in Morungole Sub County in Kaabong district.
Masaba is wanted for shooting Joseph Nyerere, a foreman at a Chinese Construction Camp, following a disagreement.
He was sighted in Uzake village prompting the brigade leadership to send a team of officers for his arrest.
Turyamumanya has declined to conceal details of the injured and deceased saying it was still early since arrangements was still being made with their families.
He explained that the vehicle was over speeding when it was obstructed by goats making the driver to lose control leading to the accident. He described the incident as unfortunate.
